Please feel free to share what the Lord has spoken to you through today's reading.
2 Cor 10:3-6 "We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. 4 We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. 5 We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. 6 And after you have become fully obedient, we will punish everyone who remains disobedient." (NLT) - In the New Living Translation I like how it states that we use "God's mighty weapons" to "knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments". We use the word of God to counter our own intellect, our own understanding. We are to rely on His wisdom, and His word over everything else. Even when reason and logic point to another conclusion... Remember that when God told Noah to start building the ark, that it wasn't flooding, and wouldn't start raining until after the ark was completed and loaded up. Noah's neighbors thought he was insane, as the world generally does when you are obedient to God even when it does not make any sense in the physical realm. When God gives you direction though, He will equip you to carry out those directions. He won't leave you in a lurch... now if we choose not to obey, things can get more difficult in our lives, just take a look at Jonah...
